One request.
Six years.
A new direction.

“I want to take my business online. Can you help me?”

That simple question from a catering business became the first real problem my college friend Ajay and I solved together. It started my journey through freelancing, research, enterprise engineering and, ultimately, entrepreneurship.

The thread running through my story is simple: technology matters most when it helps people and businesses work better.

2020 — Present

Learning to build.
Choosing to lead.

My path was never a straight line. Each chapter taught me something new—first how to solve, then how to deliver, and finally when to take the risk.

2020

Chapter 01 / Curiosity becomes useful

The first real problem

College began during COVID, an unlikely setting for a new venture. It was there that I met Ajay Suresh ↗, and our conversations about technology quickly became experiments in building.

A family friend who ran a catering business asked us for help going online. Together, we created a Google Business presence, a website and social media support—our first chance to turn classroom knowledge into a real business outcome.

What changedTechnology stopped being only a subject for me and became a tool for solving practical problems.
2020—23

Chapter 02 / Learning by delivering

From one client to a team

That first project brought us referrals from camera resellers, daycare businesses, clothing brands and other small businesses. Ajay and I brought our college friends together and named the freelance team Assistant Universe.

Every project taught me practical lessons in pricing, client communication, timelines, development and team coordination. We made mistakes, learned from them and took responsibility for every outcome.

Chapter 03 / A bigger challenge

Accend Plus Technologies

We turned the freelance effort into a registered company and worked with more than seven clients, including more than two international clients. Along the way, we moved from standard digital projects toward complex business systems.

One website client asked us for a customised ERP. We accepted, designed and delivered it—proof that we could understand a business from the inside and build software around its operations.

“Can you build a customised ERP system for our business?”
The unfinished ideaWe discussed a larger partnership, but the investment was not ready. The conversation paused—it did not end.

Chapter 04 / Building range

Research and technical foundations

My B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science opened paths across AI, data, cybersecurity, full-stack development, AR/VR and enterprise systems. I authored an IEEE-published conference paper and later contributed to another published paper at Noobtron.

CEH and CRISC certifications deepened my cybersecurity grounding. An AR/VR course at MBCIE University ended with a Top 3 team finish, and I applied those ideas in my final-year projects.

Chapter 05 / Operating at scale

From Mphasis to Grundfos

After college, predictable income and family responsibilities made the professional path the practical choice for me. At Mphasis, I gained corporate exposure through SQL, data and software work before joining Grundfos as an intern.

At Grundfos, I took a Shipment Tracking System from an operational idea to a live application, improving visibility across supply-chain work. That project took me to Denmark and earned me Best Student Intern recognition.

Chapter 06 / The clear path

A career taking shape

In May 2025, a full-time opportunity at Grundfos confirmed that the conventional career path was working for me. I continued learning across digitalisation, data, cross-functional delivery and system engineering.

My startup idea moved further into the background, but my conversations with Ajay never completely stopped.

Chapter 07 / The turning point

The call came back

A major multinational company offered me a technology role in Bangalore. I resigned from Grundfos in May and prepared for the next corporate chapter. Then the client from our 2023 ERP project called me again—almost three years after our unfinished conversation.

“The investment is ready. Are you ready to build this together?”

Stability and a clear career stood on one side; uncertainty and the chance to build stood on the other. I declined the MNC opportunity.

I chose toBUILD.

Chapter 08 / Returning with experience

We reunite. TLINSY begins.

I called the people who had been part of my journey from the beginning. Ajay returned, and my friends from the college years joined me again—not as students freelancing between classes, but as professionals shaped by enterprise work, setbacks and responsibility.

Through TLINSY, I carry forward the idea behind every chapter: understand a real operational problem, then build an intelligent system that creates measurable value.

  1. Problem

Grundfos plants depended on inbound material shipped through Maersk, DHL and Geodis, but there was no single place to see a shipment’s location or plant arrival time. Shipment and purchase-order data lived separately, so linking container ETAs to materials and SAP delivery dates was done manually in Excel.

  2. My role

I designed and built the platform end to end: the FastAPI backend, React frontend, data model and containerized deployment. I owned shipment tracking, PO/material records, planning logic, authentication and role-based access, API keys, the status and administration interfaces, and deployment configuration.

  3. Technology

    • React
    • Nginx
    • Python
    • FastAPI
    • Uvicorn
    • PostgreSQL 15
    • Docker Compose
    • Maersk
    • DHL
    • Geodis
    • Excel / SAP data
    • API keys
    • Email OTP
  4. Challenges

I handled carrier-specific HBL/MBL references, inconsistent liner names, mixed Excel date formats, shipment-to-PO/SAP date linking, secure external data exchange and large uploads or slow carrier calls.
